The process

1. First conversation	About the space, the wish, the architecture and the meaning the work should carry.
2. Design proposal	A sketch, material advice, dimensions and a price indication.
3. Approval of the design	With several design options, the choice is made together.
4. Production	Made entirely by hand in the atelier in Bussum, in close consultation at every key stage.
5. Delivery & installation	By arrangement, with personal attention for the first placement.

How long does a bespoke commission take?

On average six to twelve weeks from design approval. More complex works or larger installations up to four months.

What is the price range for bespoke work?

Bespoke work is priced per project, depending on dimensions, wood, complexity and lead time. A first indication follows after the briefing conversation.

Is a sketch made before approval?

Yes. Before approval you receive a handmade or digital sketch, often with material samples of the proposed woods.

Can I give input during the making process?

Yes. For those who want to be involved, an atelier visit during production is always possible. Many clients find this one of the most special parts of the process.

Is a bespoke piece an investment?
