About this work

A dune landscape in wood.

With Dunes I wanted to capture the powerful movement of sand and wind in the structure of wood. And the calm that settles in once such a landscape hangs on a wall.

Layers catch the light. Early in the morning the shadows fall differently than towards evening. The room breathes along; the frequency shifts, and you can feel it.

Wood carries energy. A story. A reflection of the people who live with it.

Available in oak, walnut, beech or mahogany. Each work is made by hand and to order, and comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
