Make your own artwork in wood.

Half a day in the workshop, with personal guidance. You go home with a work that is entirely yours.

Almost everyone who visits the atelier says the same two things: how wonderful it smells here, and how much they would love to work with wood themselves one day. That day is coming. In a small group I will take you into my craft: sawing, sanding, finishing, and above all feeling what wood does the moment you give it your full attention.

We work with solid walnut and oak, the same wood as in my artworks. I demonstrate every step first, then it is your turn. By the end of the session your own work is ready to travel home with you.

What you make

Your own Foss, shaped by your hands.

Foss means waterfall in Icelandic.

During the workshop you create your own version of Foss: wooden objects in droplet and stone form that together become a small landscape on your wall. You choose your wood, saw and sand your own objects and finish them with a silk-soft layer.

At home you hang them with the magnetic system. Sliding and turning stays possible forever, so your composition keeps growing with you. You take home far more than a beautiful afternoon: an artwork that hangs on your wall every day, with your own hands in it.

What a workshop looks like
