About this work

Start with one. Grow without limits.

Foss means waterfall in Icelandic. Each object stands on its own, but bring several together and a landscape of its own unfolds across your wall: form beside form, shadow beside shadow.

Because the objects hang at two depths, a three-dimensional play emerges in which light and shadow move with the day. With the magnetic system you slide and turn each object until the composition feels just right.

Wood carries energy. A story. A reflection of the people who live with it.

The work comes in two sizes: the understated Mini (± 22 cm per object) and the generous Maxi (± 33 cm per object). Choose one scale, or choose mixed: a Maxi as the focal point with Minis around it. It is precisely that difference in scale that gives the composition depth and rhythm, and because everything hangs on the same magnetic system, you can keep combining freely later on.

Available in walnut or oak, as a Trio, Quintet or Grande. Each set is made by hand and includes a drilling template, mounting kit and numbered certificate of authenticity. A few sets are always ready at the atelier.
