Foss Cascade takes the design language of the Foss family and sets it in motion. From a single hanging point, a line of five objects flows downward — carried by reinforced magnets, form after form in its own rhythm.
One line measures approximately 104 cm — enough for most vertical moments in an interior: beside a door, above a side table, between two windows, in a stairwell that has long been asking for attention. Want to go bigger? Hang two, three, four, or five side by side. Four lines together measure 104 × 67 cm. Five lines measure 104 × 87 cm. Select a quantity and the wall changes character entirely.
How it works — simplicity as luxury
One hanging point per line. Drill one hole, turn one screw, slide the brushed brass mounting ring over it. Done.
Magnetically connected. Each successive object clicks onto the one above — as if they always belonged together. Adjustable, rotatable, until the rhythm feels right.
Self-supporting. No secondary fixings along the way. The line holds itself in line — literally.
Sound-absorbing. The layered 3D structure softens room acoustics. Just like the entire Foss family.
Two design languages — choose your register
Foss-classic. The drop (Dropi, 22 × 15 cm) and the square (Steinn, 16 × 16 cm) in a rhythmic play downward. Three drops and two squares per line, alternating. Soft shoulders, organic movement — the Foss family signature set vertically. For those who want a line to become a breathing object.
Kristall. Three large hexagons (Kristall, 22 cm diameter) alternating with two compact squares (Carré, 8 × 8 cm) — a line that alternates large and small, as if crystals are strung along an invisible thread. The Carré is deliberately more than three times smaller: it serves as a breath between two hexagons. More angular, sharper, closer to sculpture than decoration.
Hardware finish — the couture detail at the top
Every line comes with a complete hanging kit in brushed brass, available in Champagne Brass (warm gold) or Chrome (cool silver). The mounting ring above each line is the only piece of hardware that remains visible — so it is deliberately beautiful. The magnets between the objects? Invisible.
Wall or ceiling — two ways to fall
Wall. The classic fall. One screw in the wall, a line that unfolds against the surface.
Ceiling. For lines that hang freely in space — in a corner, in front of a window, above a kitchen island, or beside a freestanding cabinet. Reinforced hanging system with finished ceiling mount in the same finish (+€10 per line). This is where Cascade truly comes to life: when the air around it joins in.
Foss Sólar — the golden accent (optional)
Want the line to sing? Add a Foss Sólar: a Dropi hand-laid in 24-carat gold leaf, sheet by sheet, finished in the studio. One place where light lingers — a single golden accent that sharpens the entire line. Available via Foss Cascade Extension — €45 each.
Prefer your own composition?
Those who want to go further — a line of six, mixing design languages (Foss-classic at the top, Kristall at the bottom), multiple Sólars as recurring light moments, or an asymmetric installation where the first line holds five and the last holds two — build via Foss Cascade Extension. Each object available individually: Dropi, Steinn, Kristall, Carré, or Sólar in walnut or oak. One Cascade hanging system per new line.

Every Cascade line includes a complete hanging kit: wall plug, screw, brushed brass mounting ring (Champagne Brass or Chrome), and reinforced connecting magnets between each object. With the ceiling mount: reinforced hanging system with finished ceiling plate.
